PHASE 1 · WEEKS 1-4

THE GOSPEL

This is where everything begins. Who is God? Who is Jesus? What is the Gospel? These four weeks lay the foundation for everything else.

Week 1

What is the Bible?

The Big Question

Why should I trust an ancient book written thousands of years ago?

Before we can talk about God, Jesus, or the Gospel, we need to establish the foundation: What is the Bible, and why does it matter? Is it just another religious text, or is it something more?

What You'll Learn:

  • What makes the Bible different from every other book
  • Why the Bible is trustworthy and authoritative
  • How Scripture interprets Scripture
  • Why God's Word is living and active in your life today
Key Scripture

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16

Who is God?

The Big Question

If God is real, what is He actually like?

Who is God according to Scripture, not human opinion? What are His attributes, His character, His nature? This week explores who God reveals Himself to be in His Word.

What You'll Learn:

  • The holiness and transcendence of God
  • God's love, justice, and mercy in perfect balance
  • Why God never changes (His immutability)
  • How God reveals Himself through His Word
Key Scripture

"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." - John 4:24

Week 3

Who is Jesus Christ?

The Big Question

Was Jesus just a good teacher, or is He actually God?

The most important question you will ever answer: Who is Jesus? Not who the world says He is, not who religion says He is, but who Scripture reveals Him to be.

What You'll Learn:

  • Jesus is fully God and fully man
  • Why Jesus had to be born of a virgin
  • What Jesus accomplished on the cross
  • The resurrection: Why it matters for you
Key Scripture

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." - John 1:1, 14

The Gospel Explained

The Big Question

What is the Gospel, and why does it change everything?

The Gospel is not a religious system. It's not about being good enough. It's the good news of what Jesus Christ has done for you. This is the message that saves.

What You'll Learn:

  • What the Gospel actually is (in simple terms)
  • Why you need the Gospel (the problem of sin)
  • What Jesus did to save you (the cross)
  • How the Gospel changes your life today
Key Scripture

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

PHASE 2 · WEEKS 5-8

SALVATION

You've heard the Gospel. Now what? This phase walks you through what it means to be saved by grace through faith in Christ alone.

Week 5

What is Sin?

The Big Question

Why do I need a Savior in the first place?

You can't appreciate salvation until you understand the problem. Sin isn't just bad behavior—it's the fundamental issue separating you from God. This week explains what sin is according to Scripture.

What You'll Learn:

  • What sin actually is (not just breaking rules)
  • How sin entered the world (Genesis 3)
  • Why all have sinned and fall short
  • The consequences of sin and why you need rescue
Key Scripture

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

Being Born Again

The Big Question

What does it mean to be "born again"?

Jesus told Nicodemus, "You must be born again." Not reformed, not religious, but reborn. This week explains spiritual rebirth and what it means to become a new creation in Christ.

What You'll Learn:

  • The conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus (John 3)
  • What spiritual rebirth actually means
  • How the Holy Spirit regenerates your heart
  • What changes when you're born again
Key Scripture

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3

Week 7

Repentance & Faith

The Big Question

What do I actually have to DO to be saved?

Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works. But what does that mean practically? This week explains repentance and faith—the two responses to the Gospel.

What You'll Learn:

  • What repentance is (and isn't)
  • What saving faith looks like
  • Why you can't earn salvation through works
  • How to respond to the Gospel today
Key Scripture

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works." - Ephesians 2:8-9

Week 8

Assurance of Salvation

The Big Question

How can I KNOW I'm saved and won't lose it?

Can you lose your salvation? How do you know if you're truly saved? This week gives biblical assurance based on God's promises, not your performance.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to know if you're truly saved
  • Why you cannot lose your salvation
  • The biblical evidence of genuine faith
  • God's promises of eternal security
Key Scripture

"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." - John 10:28
